Wyndmoor Home Get's A Summer Makeover
Summer is approaching and more and more families are looking for cool spaces to gather inside of their homes. When we initially consulted with our clients they raved about their living room and how it was spacious but not functional. The room had limited seating and no real spacial flow. Our clients decided it needed a transformation.
For this project our clients wanted to transform their living space and their adjacent power room into an area where they can gather, host guest, and relax. Our team designed our client’s great room and powder room with all those qualifications in mind. The challenge was to create a space that was functional but beautiful. Additionally if we wanted to fulfill their dreams of a space for people to gather we wanted to make sure that air flow would not be a problem. The original ceiling fans in the room were bulky, dated, and made noise when the blades were running. Therefore we decided a new ceiling fan was a must. We needed something that would work well in the space but also looked amazing. We knew right away when designing this project that Kichler would have the perfect product.
We Chose the Ridley II LED 52” Fan Antique Pewter. This 3 blade ceiling fan takes a minimalist approach to styling that will impact any space in your home. The integrated LED lighting makes it energy efficient too. What I love the most about this fan is that it makes minimum sound, the beautiful shape and color, but honestly it's the controller wall panel for me.
Looking now at this finished space, the modern look and color of the fan blends perfectly with the room. Our clients can sit and relax with perfect air flow and the easy use of the control panel allows the whole family to control the coolness of the room.
Our clients powder room was also in need of an upgrade. Originally the bathroom was full of neutrals which gave the space a flat feel. During the transformation we decided to brighten up the tone with lighter blues and white. The molding details added more dimension to the space. What really brought the space together was the installation of the Kichler Winslow 3 Light. We chose this fixture because of its modern look and the clear glass shades that allowed more opportunity for light to filter through the space.
Our clients were extremely happy with the results of both rooms. As the Memorial Holiday approaches they would be able to hosts guest comfortably with no issues.
