Founded in 2016 by Principal Designer Rasheeda Gray, our award-winning firm is known for creating timeless, refined spaces that balance beauty, comfort, and functionality. From large-scale renovations to fully furnished homes, our team thoughtfully guides clients through every phase of the design process with a seamless, highly personalized approach.

What makes Gray Space Interiors unique is our integrated design-build experience. Through our partnership with Gray Contracting & Construction, led by Rasheeda’s husband Jake Gray, clients benefit from a collaborative team that manages both design and construction under one roof. This streamlined approach creates better communication, smoother execution, and a more enjoyable experience from concept to completion.

Since launching the firm, Gray Space Interiors has completed more than 250 residential and commercial projects nationwide and has been featured on HGTV, Magnolia Network, House Beautiful, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Better Homes & Gardens, Philadelphia Magazine, and more. Rasheeda Gray was also named a House Beautiful Next Wave Designer and Best Design Firm of Montgomery County.

Rasheeda Gray, CEO & Principal Designer

Rasheeda Gray is the Founder and Principal Designer of Gray Space Interiors, an award-winning Philadelphia-based interior design studio known for refined, globally inspired interiors that feel both sophisticated and approachable.

Before launching Gray Space Interiors, Rasheeda spent over a decade in marketing and brand management, earning both her MBA and undergraduate degree in Marketing and International Business. Her background in business strategy, combined with her creative eye, allows her to deliver a design experience that is both highly organized and deeply personal.

Rasheeda’s work has been featured on HGTV’s Renovation Resort, Magnolia Network, A&E, Fox, and in leading publications including House Beautiful, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, CNN, and Better Homes & Gardens. Through her work in television, speaking engagements, and industry partnerships, she continues to inspire homeowners through design, entrepreneurship, and intentional living.

Jake Gray, Construction Project Manager (CEO of Gray Contracting & Construction)

Jake Gray is the Founder of Gray Contracting & Construction (GCC), the preferred construction partner for Gray Space Interiors. With over a decade of experience managing real estate construction projects, he officially launched GCC in 2020, establishing it as a fully licensed and insured firm known for its exceptional craftsmanship and efficient execution.

Today, GCC leads over 90% of Gray Space Interiors' renovation projects, ensuring a seamless, stress-free experience for clients. From structural work to fine finishes, Jake and his team meticulously handle every aspect of the construction process, delivering high-quality results that bring design visions to life. Jakeis a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and serves as a leader in his community through organizations such as The Cheltenham Economic Development Committee. He holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) and prior to GCC holds over 15 years of entreprenuerial experience resulting in expertise in both business and construction. He and his wife Rasheeda not only manage design projects together but have starred in HGTV’s Reovation Resort.

Megan Carvin, Operations

Megan joined the design industry in 2017 and became a vital part of the Gray Space Interiors team in 2022. As our Operations Specialist, she expertly manages the logistics of procurement and project management, ensuring a seamless process for our clients. Whether it’s coordinating furniture deliveries, tracking materials, or answering client inquiries, Megan’s creative problem-solving and energetic personality keep everything running smoothly.

When she’s not ensuring flawless execution at Gray Space, Megan enjoys quality time with her husband, Jordan, and their two daughters, Charleigh and Brooklynn.

Sharlene Yaqui, Junior Interior Designer & Marketing

Sharlene brought her expertise to Gray Space Interiors in 2025 as a Junior Designer and Marketing Specialist. She brings a refined eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through space. Sharlene supports the studio through thoughtful sourcing, space planning, and creative direction while leading brand and marketing initiatives that reflect the firm’s distinctive vision.

Outside of design, she draws inspiration from travel, gardening, and cooking.
